Tina passionately donates her time and energy to raise money and awareness for a variety of causes. Heavily involved in the Paul Mitchell Schools’ annual FUNraising Campaign, which has raised millions of dollars for organizations like Cancer Schmancer, Food 4 Africa, Morris Animal Foundation, and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, to name only a few, she gives from the heart and is determined to make the world a better place.
Tina’s schools routinely ranks in the top 10 fundraising schools, out of more than 100 Paul Mitchell Schools nationwide. She was also recently elected to the board of directors for the nonprofit Andrew Gomez Dream foundation which helps cosmetology students, graduates, their families, and cosmetology-related enterprises. Funds have provided educational opportunities, hurricane relief, and support in the fights against breast cancer, domestic violence, and other destroyers of self-esteem.

You may not be able to physically rescue victims, but together we can pool our resources to make a difference in young lives across Nepal and India. An Angel House Freedom Home is a place where women of all ages can go when they have no place to go. Many of the young women stopped at the border have been sold or given away by their families. In these tragic situations, these women cannot return home in fear of physical and emotional abuse. The Angel House Freedom Home houses these women, provides food, clothing, emotional support, and training in a trade like textiles or cosmetology. Depending on the severity of their past situation, most women are ready to step out in the world on their own after 4-9 months. When ready, she is given a steady job, place to live and a second chance at a fulfilling and prosperous life. She is also connected with a local church and support group to stay safe and encouraged.
